You could be eligible for a national or provincial grant that covers part of the installation cost! Up to $5,000.

Introduced in 2021 by the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Canada Greener Homes Grant allows Quebec homeowners to retrieve some of the costs involved in retrofitting a heat pump system (up to $5,000 in incentives). Additionally, the provincial incentive programs Rénoclimat, Novoclimat and Chauffez vert, and Hydro-Quebec’s financial aid program, can help Quebec homeowners with the installation cost of a heat pump (up to $1,000), depending on if you’re dealing with a retrofit or a new construction.
